The Remodeling Magazine Renaissance 1992 contest Honorable Mention Award Winning Project ' 30 Sidney Place '. This 75 year old Brooklyn Landmark brownstone needed a more efficient floor plan, a larger entry foyer, and a contemporary kitchen. The new design provided all that while respecting the building's Victorian detailing, Millwork and Plaster trim. The Architect was based in the San Francisco Bay area and had to work closely with photos and video's on the existing conditions as the construction progressed. All work had to comply with the New York City Landmarks Preservation Committee. |
